WHO WE ARE

Union Mission exists to prevent and end homelessness in the greater Savannah area by creating a caring, compassionate environment where individuals can thrive and lives can be rebuilt.

Our Impact

Josua Rine explores the reasons why the homeless exist among us. He challenges us to think differently about individuals who are houseless, leading to solutions that best reflect our community values.

STORIES OF CHANGE

Last year, more than 4,000 people were homeless in the greater Savannah area. Almost half were women and children under the age of 18. For these families, finding help and hope can be a real struggle.

An unexpected illness left Patricia unable to work and dependent on family for her basic needs. With her family overwhelmed, she turned to Union Mission for help.

A series of illnesses left Amanda homeless and in need of help. Her faith sustained her and her hope for the future brought her to Union Mission.

The students of the 75th Culinary Arts class share the impact this training has had on their lives.
