What is Union Mission’s Clothing Closet?

Union Mission offers a Clothing Closet that is similar to a Salvation Army or a Goodwill Store. We accept gently used items, such as clothing, household items, and furniture. We then allow our clients and community members to come shop on FRIDAYS from 9AM-12PM. Unlike other stores, we do not charge for any of the items that individuals may take. Whether someone is taking one pair of pants or furnishing a new apartment, all of the items are completely free. We are able to make this possible because of the donations and volunteering from YOU!

What do I need in order to shop at the Clothing Closet?

Individuals can shop at Union Mission’s Clothing Closet on FRIDAYS from 9AM-12PM. In order to shop at our facility, you must first get a slip from Grace House. Grace House is located at 120 Fahm Street, Savannah, GA 31401. From there you are allowed to shop at our Clothing Closet. During check out, you will have to provide your slip that you received at Grace House to the volunteer on duty.

How can I help?

In order to run our Clothing Closet, Union Mission relieson volunteers. Currently, we need volunteers to assist with managing the shop on FRIDAYS from 9AM-12PM.

Want to help out?

We are looking for motivated and dependable volunteers to help out on Fridays from 9AM-12PM in our Clothing Closet.
