Union Mission and Parent & Child Developmental Services (a 200+ year non-profit organization) merged in 2005 to create Parent & Child Services of Union Mission.
Parent & Child Services is a comprehensive community-based behavioral health center serving adults, adolescents & children. The program is nationally accredited through CARF indicating a commitment to practice excellence. Services are deigned to assist individuals, families and youth in meeting life's challenges through the delivery of affordable, evidenced-based practices and quality care. The following is a list of services offered:

In 2009, Parent & Child Services served more than 3000 individuals. The diversion program alone saved Chatham County taxpayers $5.5 Million as an alternative to incarceration. In Effingham County, the savings exceeded $800,000.
