Giving Thanks to You!
It is hard to believe that another year has already come and gone. Thankfully, because of our generous donors and supporters in
the community, Union Mission has had another remarkable year. Our holiday Toy Shop event made it possible to provide Christmas toys to over 60 families in our program. That’s over 135 kids! It was a wonderful way to finish 2018 and it would not have been possible without your help.
Your support has helped us to provide more than just Christmas gifts to children this past holiday season. The monetary donations and charitable items we have received throughout the year allowed for Union Mission to house 286 men, women, and children in our emergency shelter and 277 men, women, and children in our permanent supportive housing programs.
“Thank you for helping us to give hope to people that are in dire need of a helping hand.”
Union Mission is a source of hope for individuals and families that are experiencing homelessness. We are so much more than a shelter that provides hot meals and a warm place to stay. We also provide job training through our Culinary Arts Training Program and mental health counseling to those in need. We give people an opportunity to change their lives for the better. In 2018, we had 18 individuals complete the 8-week culinary training course.
The services that Union Mission provides to the clients in our programs would not be possible without your continued support. Thank you for helping us to give hope to people in need of a helping hand. Your help enables Union Mission to continue to support the homeless individuals and families that live in Savannah in 2019.
Union Mission would not be able to provide all the resources without the support from our community, donors, and volunteers. Thank you for allowing Union Mission to partner with people to end their homelessness through housing and supportive services.
