J.C. Lewis Promotion Center
The J.C. Lewis Health Promotion Center is designed to promote healthy living and the prevention of diseases brought on by unhealthy lifestyle behaviors. This is done by providing education and screening assessments to the underserved population of Chatham and surrounding counties.
Community Health & Wellness Project
Wellness groups that empower partricipants to take control of their wellness to include activities promoting exercise, food, security, horticultural arts, relaxation/meditation, stress reduction, drug prevention and health literacy.

HIV/AIDS Prevention Project
Real AIDS Prevention Project (R.A.P.P.) focuses on the prevention of HIV in women and includes street outreach, one-on-one discussions, prevention education, community involvement and small group activities. HIV/AIDS prevention education, health communication, health education and risk reduction counseling is offered to our substance abuse population.

Chronic Disease Prevention Project
Preventative education that focuses on healthy lifestyle habits, the importance of medical care, and disease self-management. Health screenings to detect various chronic diseases or signs of chronic and infectious disease.

Creative Expression/Arts Project
Growing Hope brings creative and expressive arts experiences to individuals of any age as a tool to preventing and ending homelessness. The Growing Hope Artisan's Cooperative offers training, support, and entrepreneurial experiences to those impacted by homelessness who are also interested in creative arts.
