SAVANNAH, GA – March 07, 2016 – Join Union Mission for an uplifting and enlightening evening event, Raising Hope, on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah. The featured keynote speaker, Liz Murray, best-selling author of Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard, will share her personal journey and inspire us to overcome our challenges.

The evening will begin with a reception at 6:00 PM followed by dinner at 7:00 PM. All proceeds from the event will support Union Mission’s work preventing and ending homelessness in the greater Savannah area.

“The funds raised from Raising Hope are vital to assisting those who are ready to leave homelessness behind for good,” said Steve Allison, Union Mission’s Executive Director. “This event will help Union Mission continue to provide comprehensive supportive services, like mental health counseling and employment training, and those services give people the tools they need to rebuild their lives.”

Tickets are priced at $125 per ticket or $1,100 for a table of ten. For information on how to purchase tickets, please visit the Union Mission ticketing website https://unionmission.ejoinme.org/raisinghopetickets or telephone Laura Lane McKinnon at 912-236-7423
